LENGHTY POST

Im not quite sure why debra describe me as witty. I was in the normal stream back in sec sch. I fumble before girls. I indulge in porn. And this has nothing to do with witty but im facing my quarter life crisis soon. For that reason, im whiny and i get quite fed up with those "superficial friendship".

They are just like extra burdens that constitute the need for you to lie.

picture this:

You are in town, shopping, when you spot an acquaintance in the mass of people you aren't sure why, but you dodge behind a pillar, pretending not to see him/her. It may look like your avoiding an enemy, a hostile ex bf/gf or the bully that always shoot you with his pisai back in primary sch. But no, he/she is a friend of a friend. AND, is quite affable to boot.

Sounds familiar? Well, you're not alone. I hate small talk too. I think small talk equates to lies to avert any in depth talk like,"how are you, darling! *muah-muah air kisses*""well, im great, babe! just great. Even if you are feeling down in the dumps or on anti depressants, you'd claim you're well and all that crap.

So if you happen to see your friend acting all flaky, unhinged and resorting to desperate means to avoid you, That doesn't mean that they bear any grudges against you. It merely means that "i'm on my day off from lying."

That said, so what makes a true friend? I think it will be someone that you can confide in, someone that really cares about how you are doing. And not asking for the sake of it. And let me go to extremes, for eg, someone who will still be your friend when you are down with Aids. You know, that kind of stuff.

Aiight. I shall stop.

Au revoir.

To deb: i had that frog of yours for supper. It was "toothsome". Thanks for entrusting your blog to me.
